The pizza here is great. Definitely would recommend. The service has been hit or miss, but cheap drinks and tasty pizza keeps us coming back.
Very good traditional pub. By now I've tried most of their appetizers without a bad experience. I'm giving 5 stars because even when this place is busy and I'm with a large group, their service has been great. Never without a drink or food. See you again soon in summer.
Everybody told us to try Ducks on the Roof pizza and that it was the best in town so we tried it expecting AMAZING pizza (Pizza is my favorite food) but it was the absolute worst pizza I have had in my life. It was garbage. there was like 4 pounds of cheese on it (gross cheese at that) and it was the greasiest thing I have ever eaten! Can't see why people like that pizza so much. Maybe the other food is good but we aren't eating there ever again.
Thought we would try a take out pizza and got a heavy pizza. Much prefer Western Pizza on South Albert in Regina SK and/or if in Calgary at Beckmanns on 32nd in NE Calgary.
At 7:25 PM on Saturday July 28th. Our last day here in Calgary, my friend, my sister and I; got recommended to ducks on the roof here in Cochrane, and as soon as we went in, this chick with BLOND hair (about shoulder length) was giving us the nastiest attitude. This is our first time here and we were SUPER UNIMPRESSED with her nasty attitude towards us. again, that was ... BLOND hair, shoulder length and a disgusting attitude. She needs to get fired. We took a sip of our water and left. Thats how bad the customer service was. We just walked to pizza hut a couple minutes down for the pizza we originally wanted. I wanted to point something else out that disgusted us. When she went to ask us what we wanted to drink, we said we wanted water. She went to a guy to the counter and this is what he did (he looked at us, and looked back at the girl and smiled) then when she came to take our order we said we are still looking, she rolled her eyes and went to another blond girl to say something about us; the girl looked at us and smiled and looked back at the girl who was "Assisting" us. Now why would they look back at us, (out of all the people in there), smile, mumble something and turn around? and what's up with her attitude...was it because we ordered water? did that offend you. I'm sorry we don't want to go on a plane drunk... I wish we got your name. If a manager sees this ... it would be greatly appreciated to discipline these individuals. It makes us never want to come back here when we visit Calgary ... Thank you;Sincerely, 3 girls who just wanted pizza ... and water before heading back home.
