Not my first choice for a room in Cochrane but like the historic 114 yr old establishment. Rolling into town at midnight, was graciously welcomed by staff and offered a comfortable room to crash for the night. The coffee is good too, on this chilly Alberta morning.
Just a notch above simple fair at a great price. Warm friendly staff and no big chain BS. Love it.
Fairly neat hotel. Bit small rooms. The train is clearly hearable, and the bar has some pretty loud music, which can be a bit annoying when you want to turn in early.Only thing was that our car was towed overnight, due to an event that took place on the street the next morning. I explicitly asked about whether or not I could leave my car parked in front of the hotel and I was told it was fine. The towing however proved otherwise.
So much history! Deliciously great food!) At reasonable pricesAnd nice relaxed atmosphere) Convenient to many amenities as well! Kids menu and very nice staff I met!
Staff are extremely rude. Food ok. Definitely don't recommend.
