Canmore is a young and growing town a short distance from Calgary on the lovely route 1A which is a pleasant alternative to the Trans-Canada when heading to and from the Rockies The Chang Rai is in a little mall and has some of the best Thau food I have eaten. The mango salad is a standout and the curries most acceptable. The Pad Thai was a little too sweet for my taste but an incredible find. Well worth a detour.
Green curry was excellent and the coconut rice was a nice touch. Portion size was very good. The server was very nice and polite. Would definitely go back.
The chicken satay and deep fried banana are amazing, the pricing is very reasonable and the staff are friendly. I don't often try new things, but every person I've taken here to eat has really liked everything.
Almost everything can be made vegan and/or GF and every dish is made fresh to order. The staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. My favourite Cochrane restaurant!
Excellent food at very good prices. The menu isn't huge but everything I've had had been delicious. Great lunch special that gets you in and out in about 30 minutes.
