Trivia night on Wednesday was a great time. There were clearly lots of regulars.Plenty of house made craft beer and also a selection of other liqueurs and beers.Country feel with lots of wood. Clean bathroom had a great cedar smell and was private.Don't be scared of the industrial setting. The place is very nice with amazing food and great finishings inside.
Very nice taproom with good beer, a few of their own and a large selection of other Alberta brews. Was hoping that they would have had a larger section of house brews but everything they offered was top notch. Was not disappointed and would make the hour drive again
We have been on a number of different occasions and had generally really good meals. Last time we decided to try their burnt ends which we have had before and enjoyed and also share the smoked meat platter with a couple different sides. My wife and I love good BBQ and have tried multiple different places. The items we selected on our platter were the pork ribs and bison ribs. We were pretty disappointed in both as it was obvious to us they were not smoked low n slow as true BBQ should be and were par boiled and finished on a grill with sauce. We will be back as we enjoy a number of other items on the menu outside of the smoked selections and the atmosphere and beer selection are great.
Good beers, pretty good food. Nice setup, decent food (my club sandwich chicken breast was a tad dry, my wife loved the fish tacos). Portions are huge; too big in all honesty. If you're a light eater you might want to share (and the kids' servings are massive too). The washrooms are nice and the extra diapers for families are a really nice touch! It's always cool to see a place properly cater to parents.
Decent beer and menu. Great service. Not the brewery style I'm used to. Like a Brewster's only in a rustic setting.
