Brought my dog here and was a waste of money and time. I paid $78 for a check up and they didn't even give me a real check up I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. They gave me no real info on if my pet was healthy or not and the vet even called my male dog a she. Makes me wonder if they even know what they're doing or even care. Just a money grab pushing people in and out.The receptionist was friendly and helpful but other than that I wouldn't recommend bringing your animals here.
Had my kitty's teeth cleaned here. It was noticeably more cost effective to drive out to here from Calgary than have it done at her regular vet. About 2/3 the cost here.Staff were lovely and friendly. The vet Sarah was fantastic. I felt comfortable leaving her in their care. I had some concerns the next day and they were able to resolve them over the phone.Would recommend care here. The only drawback was they have a cat in the office certain days. It was a bit unfortunate as my already stressed from the drive kitty was being hissed at by this office cat. Not sure what the benefit is to have a cat in the office.
I just want to thank the receptionist I was speaking to yesterday when I called to make an appointment for my cat. After asking about the symptoms my cat was experiencing she urged me to take him to an emergency clinic ASAP instead of waiting for an appointment the next day. He didnt seem distressed so I probably would have waited until the next day instead of taking him to emergency. I left right after our conversation and he did end up needed urgent treatment. Just wanted to thank her for doing that
We live in Calgary, but decided to go out of town to get my puppy neutered. Best decision! Not just financially, but he took to them quicker than he did the vet we see now. The atmosphere is very calming and "homey" and not so clinical. He rolled over for belly rubs pretty quickly. The ladies there were so fantastic at reassuring me that he would be alright. They understand your dog is your family and treat them like they would theres. He got loving and play time instead of having to be kenneled the whole time. The vet who performed the surgery called me herself right after to let me know how it went. Definitely worth the trip! They helped put my anxieties at rest and my puppy is recovering nicely. Thanks!
We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else with our dogs. Over the years the staff have seen all of our dogs whether for sickness, injury, dental problems or cleanings, and unfortunately, the deaths of some of them. Dr. Rod is our favorite, but our dogs have been seen by most of the staff and they have always treated them like they would their own pets. They always try to keep our costs down while not sacrificing the health of our dogs. Losing a pet is a terrible, emotional time and we would not want anyone other than the wonderful staff at Cochrane Veterinary Care Clinic to be with us during this time. They are so compassionate. Bottom line... we are treated like family. From the reception staff to the doctors, you can't go wrong with Cochrane Veterinary Care Clinic.
